Vacant Times 3
This vacant store at the northern corner of Clarkesville’s center square permits a view of two more vacant buildings at the same end of the road, one in reflection and the other on an adjacent street seen through the second window.
Clarkesville has had a difficult time bringing life back to it’s aging downtown. I wouldn’t blame it on the current economy because it’s been this way ever since I first visited the town six years ago. At any rate, my intention here was not to highlight the vacancy but rather the three dimensional view. There is also a nice double shadow play happening on the surface of the window and in the reflection.
Taken with an Olympus E-3 and Zuiko 14 -54 mm f/2.8 TF; f/14 @ 1/15 sec, ISO 100. The window image was severely warped by the wide angle, so I fixed this in PS with the skew and perspective tools.
