Tulip Poplar

The Tulip Poplar is one of the more abundant hardwoods in the northern mountain region of Georgia, or the Appalachian mountains. It is a member of the Magnolia family and gets it’s name from the tulip shaped flowers that adorn it during late spring and summer.
